HEIR IN CHRIST
I am a child
Carried in the bosom and nursed
Can’t seat for long
with short attention span
Crying to get their attention
It work like magic
Unstable
Tossed to and fro by the waves
Carried by every wind of doctrine
By human cunning
By craftiness in deceitful schemes
Untested and theological
Complain about everything and anything
I am a child
Heir
But I am not different from a slave
As long as I am a child
Though the owner of everything
But I am under guardians and managers
Until the date set by my father
The full time has come
To be to grow and mature
To be who He has called me for
To accomplish
To stand
To proclaim
To heal and mend
To build and plant
To uproot and pull down
To rule with my father
To be the heir to the throne
But all I thought off was
How ineloquent I am?
Childish I behave
How people would perceive me?
Their thoughts
How scared I am?
How young I am?
How unskilful I am?
With all the frenzy excuses and all the fear
How long do we want to continually be children
How long would we sleep and slumber?
How long would we be spiritual babies?
How long would we be immature?
Prayer is wahala
Reading the word is dreadful
Fasting is ..............
How long would we stay in our comfort zone?
How long would we hide?
How long would we run from the calling?
Let us put off childish staff
And let us run
The race allocated for us
Let us not conform ourselves to the standards of this world, but let God transform us inwardly by a complete change of our minds. Then we will be able to know the will of God- what is good and is pleasing to him and is perfect.
By speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ.
And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!”
So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if sons then an heir through God.
Grounded in Christ, Repositioned for maximum impact

Pain is essential
You can't run from disappointments. You can't avoid hardships. The moment you answered Jesus' calling, you accepted the truth that you will need to carry your cross and oppose the "comforts" of this world.
And even if you are being fair or being good or being righteous to every person you meet, that will never guarantee a painless life.
Pain is essential for your faith maturity. There are biblical truths where their very essence will be fully revealed —or understandable — when sufferings strike your foot. When each step of your striken foot produces unbearable agony to your body.
Like the joy you have when you received Christ as your master, you also receive the privilage to suffer like your savior. Though you do what's right, the world will still reject and mock you.
When you suffer because you're doing something for Father's glory, you're actually preaching to yourself the very Word of God.
We learn from experience. We grow when we groan.
